I’m a licensed tattoo artist with 7 years of professional experience, beginning my tattooing career in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I recently made the move to Rochester, MN, where I’m continuing to grow my clientele and create custom artwork that’s unique to each person who sits in my chair.

I specialize in Realism, Neo-Traditional, and American Traditional tattooing, while also working across a variety of other styles. I love taking a client’s idea and turning it into a design that not only looks great on paper, but flows naturally with the body and is built to last.

Whether it’s a detailed realistic piece, bold traditional work, or something completely custom, my goal is to create tattoos that my clients are proud to wear for a lifetime. I’m always excited to take on new ideas, meet new clients, and continue growing as an artist here in Rochester.

In the realm where creativity meets skin, you'll find Dave, a skilled tattoo artist and body piercer. Born in 1987, Dave's love for art began in his early years, with a childhood filled with sketchbooks and a passion for creative expression.

Dave's journey into the world of tattoos and body piercing took a more formal turn when he apprenticed under an experienced tattoo artist. Through this experience, he refined his skills, becoming known for his attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Beyond the tattoo studio, Dave is a dedicated family man, blessed with two kids who bring joy and inspiration to his life. As a father, he instills the values of creativity and self-expression in his children, fostering a love for art in the next generation.

In his downtime, Dave enjoys the serenity of fishing. Music is also another integral part of Dave's life. Music is the soundtrack to his life. Dave's eclectic taste spans various genres, reflecting the diversity and depth of his artistic spirit.

Brian has had an interest in piercings since he was 14. Though some people look at piercings as simply putting holes in your body, Brian looks at it as body modification in an artful manner. Brian started piercing in 2004. Since then he has become a master body piercer and still continues to push himself to new levels.

In 2009 Brian wanted to open up a new piercing and tattoo studio. He wanted this shop to set new standards in Minnesota; at the same time he wanted clients to feel comfortable and not intimidated when walking into a piercing or tattoo shop. In July 2009 the doors of Skinlab opened.

On Brian’s off time you can find him gaming, tinkering with electronics, or creating computer graphics.
